Professional Learning Opportunities

We are proud to offer a variety of workshops for the convenience of all EGUSD employees. Please refer to the listings below and simply click on your area of interest.

Remember, if you are interested in a fee-based workshop, your check must be mailed along with the registration form to Professional Learning, 9510 Elk Grove-Florin Road, Elk Grove, CA 95624. If you are interested in a non-fee-based workshop, simply call the electronic registrar at 686-7561 to register.

How to register for a NON-fee-based EGUSD course.

If you were hired before February 2007:

  1. Call the registration line 686-7561.
  2. Use your registration PIN to register for the course.
  3. If you are uncertain of your PIN, follow the instructions to retrieve your PIN.
If you were hired after February 2007:
  1. Email Sylvia Avalos in Curriculum and Professional Learning.
  2. Include in the email your EIN and course number.

How to register for a fee-based EGUSD course.

Complete the registration form and return it to the Curriculum/Professional Learning Department.

 

Workshop Proposal Forms

The process for getting a districtwide or site-based workshop approved and supported by the Professional Learning Department is as follows:

  • Complete a Workshop Proposal Form (see below).
  • Submit the form to the Professional Learning Department.
  • Once approved, the workshop will be assigned a course number.
  • A sign-in sheet(s) and evaluation forms will be sent to you.
  • Professional Learning will advertise districtwide workshops.
  • When the workshop is completed, the sign-in sheet(s) and evaluation forms are sent back to the Professional Learning Department.
