Pollyanna Cooper-LeVangie

Pollyanna Cooper-LeVangie was appointed to the Board of Education in 2001. She is a product of the Elk Grove district, having graduated from Elk Grove High School. She also attended Sierra Enterprise Elementary School and Joseph Kerr Middle School.

Cooper-LeVangie earned her teaching credential from California State University, Sacramento in 1996. She has worked as a substitute elementary school teacher throughout the school district and taught in first and second grade at Charles Mack Elementary School from 1996-1999.

Currently, she serves as a parent volunteer for the Franklin High School Cross-Country Team.

A parent of two children, Cooper-LeVangie is a strong advocate for the involvement of parents in their children's education. She works to ensure that the district is accessible to the community and that the district continues to set high expectations and standards for all students.
