Celebrating Our 11th Year in a row!
We are the only school in the Elk Grove District that has been above the 800 goal for all Eleven years the API has been in use.

In the spring of 2009, Elitha Donner students competed in the annual Robert Trigg Track and Field Invitational. Over 40 students received awards during the competition.

For the 2007-2009 school years, Elitha Donner students went to the state finals for Destination Imagination! They also went on to Nationals where they competed with other students around the world. Our students also placed as finalists in the District Spelling Bee, Science Fair and Oral Language Faire.

Elitha Donner was selected to host a press conference on August 31,2004 when the State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O’Connell announced the statewide results of the Academic Performance Index. Donner was selected as an outstanding example of quality, since our API continues to be above 800, which is the target score for all California schools, and we are the only school in the Elk Grove District that has been above the 800 goal for all ten years the API has been in use. We are proud that we were selected to host the press conference, and grateful that the staff and community continues to support high standards for students!

During the 2001-2002 school year, the winning tradition continued as the Elitha Donner Volleyball team took first place. The Dolphins faced stiff competition during league play, but they managed to outlast all opponents and remained undefeated. The team was coached by Mr. and Mrs. Matsumoto.
