Senior Tailgate—Mon. Aug. 29th at the end of the first day of school--free hotdogs, sodas, and music after school out by the tennis courts..throw your backpack in your car and then head over to the tailgate to bond with other "just-turned"seniors!

Class Ring Ordering!! September 21st and 22nd, during both lunches and from 5:30-9:00pm in the cafeteria on the Sept. 21st..Jeff Lane from Josten's will be here displaying and taking orders for all of the class rings offered. Fall Homecoming Dance--Sat. Oct. 22nd..$11.00 for singles w/sbc and $12.00 without.for couples with student body cards, a dollar more without..Come dance the night away with music mixed by Joey "mixin'" Muzz! The dance will run from 7:00-11:00 and everyone MUST bring a picture ID to be admitted to the dance.

Winter Homecoming Dance! To be announced from
Thur. Jan. 5th—Elk Grove Talent Show--The Thurs. night after Winter Break!!! Student talent on display..If you've always wanted your 15 minutes of fame, this is the time to show it off! $2.00-- seating in the Little Theater. Cash Prizes to the top three contestants!!!
Senior Ball—Sat. April 22nd--be part of the greatest dance Elk Grove has ever seen! Cost is $40.00/person($42.00 w/o sbc), $80.00/couple ($84.00 w/o sbc). This gala will take place at the Library Galleria on Ninth and J Streets in Sacramento and will run from 8:00-12:00. Delivery of Caps, Gowns, and Announcements..Late April during STAR testing--Students can pickup their announcements in the morning in the cafeteria. All announcements paid in full and not picked up can be picked up in room F-2.
June 1st Thur. night--Senior-Parent Potluck..Potluck dinner with seniors and their parents with the Senior slide show to follow in the gym..Bring food items to feed approx. 8 people--what to bring will be announced at a later date. This event runs from 6:30-8:30pm with desert following the slide show!
Fri. June 2nd.—Senior Picnic.. Waterworld in Concord. Seniors will leave the school at
approximately 9:00am and return to the school at 6:00pm. Cost will be $7.00
unless otherwise noted.
Saturday June 3rd--SeniorBreakfast..A free breakfast to be held at the
school cafeteria, hosted by the Elk Grove Lion's Club..Students will be able to
sign yearbooks, take pictures, and watch the senior video which runs about 11/2
hours and can be purchased for $25.00, in either VHS or DVD format. The time
will be from 9:00am-12:00pm and there will be great gifts for the first 300
people attending.
Sun. June 4th--BACCALAUREATE..This is a non-demoninational ceremony
to be held at First Baptist Church from 3:00-5:00pm..Students are to wear their
caps and gowns for this ceremony of student speakers, singers, and a positive
message from a clergy..
Tuesday June 6th—Graduation rehearsal in the Cartwright Gym..be there by 8:00am and make sure all library fines are paid..This rehearsal is mandatory if you plan on taking part in the Graduation ceremony at Arco Arena.
Wed. June 7th--GRADUATION!!to be held at the Arco Arena in Sacramento at 3:30..Must have
a ticket to attend, this ceremony needs no explanation. Each senior will
receive 6 tickets during the mandatory Grad rehearsal.. Additional graduation tickets can be
purchased from the bookkeeper for $5.00 each beginning in mid-April.
Wed. June 7th--Sober GradNight—at California Family Fitness-- goes from 10:00pm to 5:00am...get all the video games, food, dancing, and make-your-own-videos for just $55.00 You can even take the bus there from Elk Grove High! click here for info on fundraisers!!
June 8th -10th
