EGUSD Proficiency Testing Services
Typing
Typing test and certificate fee: $15 Retakes: $10
Test consists of two 3-minute warm-ups and two 5-minute tests and a certificate will be issued at the conclusion. Photo identification is required on the day of the test. NCLB Paraeducator and Custodial
Test and certificate fee: $15 per test Retakes: $10
The Paraeducator and Custodial exams are given on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month; check in time is 12:45 p.m. Dates are subject to change due to Holidays, and additional testing dates are sometimes added during peak hiring periods. Pre-registration is required prior to testing date, and photo identification is required upon check-in for the exam. The Paraeducator exam can take up to 3 hours to complete, and the Custodial exam can take up to 2 hours to complete. Please do not bring children to your testing appointment.
