Principal's Message

Welcome to Robert J. Fite’s Website. We are very pleased that you have chosen to learn more about our school.  Fite is a great place to work and learn. The staff here is highly qualified, dedicated, and very hardworking.  We follow the adopted state and district curriculums closely and set our sights on always doing a better job.

Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment that fosters academic excellence.  We strive to be an active community that promotes social responsibility, acceptance of diversity and life-long learning. 

As you come to know our school, you will realize that we have a professional and enthusiastic staff and community dedicated to challenging all students to reach their maximum potential and working together to accomplish great things for our children. We encourage our children to soar, as we truly are the Fabulous Fite Falcons!

Vice Principal's Message

On Monday, October 13, 2008, I started working with Fite Elementary students, parents and staff as the new Vice Principal.  Meeting your children throughout the day has been a pleasure.

Over twenty years ago, I became part of the Elk Grove Unified School District.  My children attended local schools, one graduating from Laguna Creek High School and the other from Sheldon High School.  Their experiences have allowed me to see education from the perspective of a parent.

My career as an educator has spanned a similar amount of time.  Having taught elementary, middle, and then high school has provided the understanding of high academic and behavioral expectations, fair and consistent treatment of students and the development of a strong relationship between the parents and the school.  I am so looking forward to working with Dr. Grewal and the staff to accomplish these goals.

Although I will be working between two school sites, I look forward to having the opportunity to talk with you.
