Subject: PSAT for KERR Students

As in the past, the Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test (PSAT) will be offered to Kerr students. Those students enrolled in geometry or algebra are strongly encouraged to take this practice version of the SAT college entrance exam. Usually, college prep students take the PSAT test in high school but studies have shown that accelerated students can benefit from taking the testing several times as early as middle school. Early exposure to the test can help students achieve their best possible scores later on. This, in turn, will help students get a "head start" on preparing for college and gaining entrance to the college or university of their choice.

Registration will begin in September. Students will receive registration information through the student bulletin and in their math classes. Seating is limited and only the first 90 students to register will be admitted. If you have any questions, you may call the counseling office at 686-7728.
