Approved Research Bibliography Formats

No research paper is complete without a listing of all the sources used in the preparation of the paper. This page will supply you with the necessary information to create a proper bibliography.

(1) Arrange the sources in alphabetical order by author's name. If there is no author listed, use the first important word in the title of the book or article.

(2) Title the page: BIBLIOGRAPHY (center it near the top).

(3) Make an entry for each of the sources you alphabetized according to the examples following, starting each entry at the margin. Indent the next line. Double space between each entry.
