PROGRAMS
GATE
- The goal of the GATE program is to provide
high quality instruction, acceleration, and differentiated
curriculum for students who are identified as
having abilities and/or potential for high performance.
ASES
- The ASES Program is an after school program
designed to assist Elk Grove students and their
parents.
TITLE
I - Title I funds are allocated by districts
to schools based on numbers of low-income students
according to free/reduced price meals and/or CalWorks
(formerly known as Aid to Families with Dependent
Children).
ENGLISH
LEARNERS - EL- Programs for language minority
students must comply with Title VI of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964.
INDIAN
EDUCATION - The Indian Education program
provides special educational services to American
Indian and Alaska Native children.
SUPPLEMENTAL PROGRAMS -
The purpose of Supplemental Programs is to
provide intensive intervention instruction to
students who are performing below grade level
or not making adequate progress toward passing
the California High School Exit Exam, and to provide
the opportunity for students to accelerate toward
meeting district graduation requirements. Instruction
is provided through extended day, intersession
