September 21, 2007
Elk Grove Unified School District officials are pleased to announce the winners of the No Excuses – Go to School Rhyme Contest. The contest asked students throughout the district to create a fun rhyme about excuses kids would use for not attending school.
The Rhyme Contest selected 12 winning rhymes that will be featured in the upcoming Attendance Campaign Poster Contest. The winning rhymes will be illustrated by district students for the Poster Contest.
The Superintendent’s Cabinet selected the top winners.
Rhyme contest winners will be used to promote the attendance campaign in district communications and events.
