Partners Preschool accepting enrollment October 21, 2009 Partners Preschool, a preschool program facilitated by Elk Grove Adult and Community Education (EGACE), has recently opened a new site in the East Franklin area and is currently accepting enrollments at all four sites for the 2009/10 school year. Partners Preschool is a unique program that combines student and parent learning. Parents are required to attend parenting night classes three times a month and volunteer in their child’s classroom four times a month. The new Point Pleasant Partners Preschool is located at 3357 Pt. Pleasant Rd., 2.5 miles south of Franklin Elementary School. The morning program runs from 8-11 a.m. Monday through Thursday. For more information or to register, call 684-1750. Partners Preschool is offered at three other locations: James McKee and Irene B. West elementary schools and Valley High School. Partners Preschool offers two classes at each of these sites – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Classes meet four days a week, Monday through Thursday, for three hours a day. To be eligible to attend a Partners Preschool, students must be 3 or 4-years-old by December 2, 2008, toilet-trained and have current immunizations. Parent requirements include: verification of a negative TB test, regular attendance on assigned workdays and at classes and payment of monthly fees on or before the due date. Priority is given to residents within the Elk Grove Unified School District.
