What's Happening - Calendar of Events – October 26-30

Here is what’s going on in the Elk Grove Unified School District during the week of October 26-30:

October 28:  Toby Johnson Middle School will hold their Unity Day all day at First Baptist Church.  Unity Day brings together members of the student body and student leaders to participate in team building and self esteem activities. The students will also discuss social issues that are relevant to teenagers.

October 28:  Parents of students at James Rutter Middle School are invited to attend the next session of Parent University from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.  This month’s topic is Parent Information Night – understanding your student’s performance on the STAR tests and focusing on math.

October 29:  Fourth grade students at Foulks Ranch Elementary School will present “Geology Rocks,” a musical that teaches students about the different types of rocks, forces of weathering and erosion and the rock cycle from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
