Monterey Trail High School students are “Caring with Cards”

Students in the Design and Technology Academy (DATA) at Monterey Trail High School (MTHS) will lift the spirits of residents at the Elk Grove Care and Rehab Center through their annual Caring with Cards event at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, December 11.

Students from the academy will gather on Friday to make holiday cards for the 125 residents of the Elk Grove Care and Rehab Center.  The students will distribute the cards to the residents on December 20th at 1:30 p.m.

“This year marks the third year our students have organized this event,” said Cindy Lascola, a DATA Business and Computer Science teacher at Monterey Trail.  “The students are very excited about bringing holiday cheer to the residents at the center.”
