College financing program comes to Laguna Creek High School

Laguna Creek High School will host the Making It Count’s “Ultimate Money Skills: College Funding” program for parents of students in grade 9-12 at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2010.

Making It Count, an educational service provider for parents and students, is a business unit of Monster Worldwide Inc. Making It Count has teamed up with Bank of America to provide “Ultimate Money Skills: College Funding,” a free, one-hour presentation for parents of high school students.

Through Making It Count, parents will learn how to send their child to college without risking their financial future. The presentation is designed to help parents gain an understanding of how the college financing process works, including options available to develop a college funding strategy, how to plan for and manage all college costs, as well as different types of financial aid available.
