Mission

The mission of the Pleasant Grove High School and Katherine Albiani Middle School Library Media Center is to support the mission of Pleasant Grove High School and Katherine L. Albiani Middle School.  The library staff will provide the skills and experiences to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.

Open Monday-Friday 7:00AM

After school extended hours *vary Mon.-Thurs. until 4:15, so check School Loop and the Daily Bulletin.

The library has extended its hours to accommodate students who need a serious, quiet learning environment to study, use computers and do research.  This is a pilot program which will be evaluated on a monthly basis.  Library closes at 3:20 on Fridays and for after school meetings or emergencies. 

 

The library is open from 7:30 A.M. to 3:20 P.M. on regular school days.

At lunch, the library is open except when a class is scheduled in the library.

On Late-Start Thursdays, the library opens at 7:30 A.M. At 8:00 everyone who chooses to remain in the library and study quietly until 8:45 may stay. From 8:00 to 8:45 no additional students may enter the library.

When school is dismissed early, the library will be closed.

  • 60 networked computers
  • 1 copy machine for student use at 15 cents per copy

Policies

    • Books are checked out for three weeks, most books can be renewed.
    • Student ID cards are required to check out books and to use the computer during free time.
    • Students with overdue books or fines may not continue to check out books. Payment plans are available for lost items and fines.
    • No fines are charged for overdue books.
