GENERAL PROCEDURES

Before School

  • Front gate will be opened at 7:10 and breakfast will be served.
  • At 8:30 AM, the front gate will be locked. Visitors must be sign-in in the office.
  • Students need to walk as they enter cafeteria, gather breakfast foods, and have a seat at a table to eat. All trash is discarded by the student when finished. Students will then be excused to go to the yard immediately. (Those students who choose not to eat breakfast need to go directly to the yard and line up.
  • All bike riders must walk bikes on campus, lock their bikes and go to the appropriate areas (cafeteria or blacktop).
  • Students are to line up outside on the blacktop in their lines. Teachers will come to get the students from the blacktop. All classes will walk to classrooms in an orderly fashion.
  • Students are not to play on equipment, chase each other around or play games before school.
Hall Passes
  • Students must have a hall pass to be out of class. Students without a hall pass should be sent back to class to receive one.
  • If students need to go to the office at recess, they must first get a hall pass from a yard duty. Only those students with a pass will be assisted.
  • The office staff will TIME STAMP passes when students leave the office.
After School
  • Teachers will walk their classes out to the gate.
  • Primary grades may leave their rooms at 2:05 to avoid the rush.
  • All primary grades will exit through the gate by the office.
  • All intermediate grades will exit through the gate by the stage.
  • All bikes must be walked off-campus by students (no riding allowed)
  • The office phone is not available to use for the first half hour after school.
