EAGLE ACADEMY
Philosophy
Eagles Academy's focus is to provide a safe learning and
enriching environment during after school hours for
students, families, and the community at large.
The Academy runs Monday through Friday from
the opening hour of 2:10 p.m. until the check out hour of
5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday components include
homework assistance, Literacy and Enrichment. On Friday
students will be encouraged to participate in enrichment
activities for the full day.
Although it is not mandatory, parents and guardians are
strongly encouraged to participate daily, weekly or monthly
in the program by attending various workshops, parent
meetings and helping directly with each component of the
student's day.
Enrichment Fridays
The Eagle Academy will provide students with enrichment
activities. The enrichment schedule may be structured
differently with activities that may be centered on Health
and Nutrition, Visual and Performing Arts, Bowling,
Science, Arts and Crafts, Foreign Language and/or
Educational games.
