Philosophy of teaching: Students really have only themselves to learn. They need to discover what it is that motivates them to succeed. My job is to nurture and guide them. Each student will receive a structured, standards-based, and safe learning environment. I can sum up my personal philosophy on teaching by using the phrase that I constantly repeat to my students in class: Preparation + Perspiration = Success.

Favorite subjects to teach: Technology. Our goal is to become computer wizards, master the Internet, and be able to find any and all the knowledge we need. Math is fun too.

Philosophy of Teaching: I believe whole-heartedly that my students are in competition with all sixth graders in the world. Coming from the private sector, I have seen this. My students will receive a standards-based and fun learning experience. This will be done through what I call, the “three Ps”, PASSION, PURPOSE, and PERSEVERANCE. I try do all this in a collaborative and respectful manner as well.
