How do I enroll in Honors classes at

Sheldon High School?

 

 

Honors English 9: 

· Select Honors English 9 on your course selection sheet.

· Turn in a Letter of Intent and a Teacher Recommendation form. 

· Contact Mrs. Kahrs-Emigh in room 320 for summer work.

 

Honors English 10:               

· Select Honors English 10 on your course selection sheet. 

· Contact Mrs. Abbott in room 316 for summer work. 

 

Honors Biology:  

· Students are placed in Honors Biology by current science teacher  recommendation.

 

Honors Geometry, Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus:      

· Submit an honors math application.  See your current math teacher for an application. 

· If you are already in an honors math class, you will continue in honors based on teacher recommendation.

 

Honors Art:                

· Take Art 1 and either Art 2 or Commercial Art Graphics with a B or better. 

· Acceptance is also based on a teacher recommendation.

 

Honors Advanced Theater: 

· Complete Theater 1 with a B or better and fill out an application

· Perform an audition to be accepted to Advanced Theater.  Will then be considered for Honors Advance Theater.

Honors French 3 and 4: 

· Contact Mrs. Trout.
