AUTOZONE COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Car parts store AutoZone focuses corporate contributions on nonprofit organizations working in the areas of education, human services and civic affairs.

In education, interest areas include: workforce development efforts to build a skilled workforce in the areas of vehicle maintenance, technology, customer service and retail management; schools and other organizations that train future drivers in vehicle maintenance and safety; organizations that develop and encourage entrepreneurial skills; and literacy and English as a second language programs.

PRECISION METALFORMING ASSOCIATION EDUCATION FOUNDATION

The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) Education Foundation was established in 1996 to develop a trained, motivated workforce by initiating and supporting training and education with its member companies, educators, corporations and foundations across the country. PMA offers grants for metal forming education projects.

The Mission of PMA's Educational Foundation is: "To enhance the supply of skilled workers by supporting and developing training and education programs and by improving the public image and awareness of careers in metalforming."
