BASEBALL
TOMORROW FUND
The Baseball Tomorrow Fund makes grants to support
baseball and softball programs serving youth ages
10-16. Funds will go to organizations seeking
to increase the number of youth participating
in such programs, improve overall program quality,
create new or innovative ways of expanding and
improving programs, generate matching funds, or
provide opportunities for minorities and women.
All projects should expand baseball and softball
programs in measurable ways, serve a demonstrated
need, have clearly outlined objectives that are
achievable within a designated time frame, and
have a feasible action plan. Applicants seeking
funds for operating expenses, staff salaries,
construction costs (other than baseball/softball
field construction or refurbishing) or other overhead
costs will not be considered.
To apply, submit a brief (no more than three
pages) letter of inquiry to the foundation, outlining
the purpose of the project needing funds. Organizational
history, information about children to be served,
estimated budget, grant time period, and staff
qualifications.

BOWERMAN
TRACK-RENOVATION PROGRAM
Sponsored by Nike, this program provides nonprofit
organizations up to $50,000 for the construction
or refurbishment of running tracks. Each year,
the program distributes a total of $200,000. Grant
recipients must provide residents of surrounding
neighborhoods with access to the track, and grant
funds must be at least partially matched by other
contributors by an agreed-upon deadline.

LEGO CHILDREN'S FUND
The LEGO Children's Fund will provide quarterly grants for programs, either in part of total, with a special interest paid to collaborative efforts and in providing matching fund to leverage new dollars into the receiving organization. We will give priority consideration to programs that both meet our goals and are supported in volunteer time and effort by our employees.
- Early childhood education and development
- Technology and communication projects that advance learning opportunities
- Sport or athletic programs that concentrate on under-served youth
The LEGO Children's Fund will provide grants quarterly. Applicants are invited to submit proposals anytime throughout the year. However, to ensure that a request is considered for a particular trustee meeting, proposals must be received by dates listed below.
Funds: $500 to $5,000
Application Deadline: February 1st for grants awarded in March; May 1st for grants awarded in June; August 1st for grants awarded in September; November 1st for grants awarded in December.

UNITED STATES GOLF ASSOCIATION
The United States Golf Association provides opportunities to organizations through the "For the Good of the Game" Grants Program to introduce the game of golf to people who would otherwise not have the opportunity, specifically kids from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and individuals with disabilities.
Grant awards should be directed towards: instructional programs; caddie or other work-based curriculum; or the construction of facilities that make the game more affordable and accessible.
