ALLSTATE FOUNDATION
The Allstate Foundation makes grants to nonprofit organizations, including public K-12 schools, for projects that address the following: Safe and Vital Communities; Tolerance, Inclusion and Diversity; and Economic Empowerment. Under their Tolerance, Inclusion and Diversity initiative, the Allstate Foundation is interested in projects that:
· Teach tolerance to youth: learning tolerance starts early. Allstate supports programs that teach young people to develop tolerant and inclusive behaviors without compromising the uniqueness of the individual
· Alleviate discrimination: Allstate seeks to combat the barriers to diversity and inclusion by supporting programs that address the root of discrimination
· End hate crimes: Through support of workshops in schools and community organizations, Allstate encourages people to challenge and speak out against acts of hate.
Funds: Grants typically range from $5,000 to $10,000

THE
CALIFORNIA WELLNESS FOUNDATION
The California Wellness Foundation awards grants
to organizations that provide direct services
in disease prevention, health promotion, and wellness
education in California. Proposed activities should
fall into one of the following areas: diversity
in the health professions, environmental health,
healthy aging, mental health, teenage-pregnancy
prevention, violence prevention, women's health,
or issues related to work and health. Requests
for core operating support are encouraged.

TARGET EDUCATION GRANTS
Target supports education through initiatives that focus on teachers and classrooms and early childhood reading. National programs include Take Charge of Education, a school fundraising program and the Target Field Trip Grants Program, designed to help teachers bring learning to life for students. Target also supports schools and educational organizations through local grant donations.
