On November 20, 2006, Calvine High School students visited Nimbus Fish Hatchery to observe the final stages of the salmon migration, and to evaluate the American River watershed. This activity, combined with trips to Strawberry Creek and Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge help students learn the importance of all people being watershed stewards.
