One goal of the staff at Calvine High School is to teach the students genuine life skills, or those that will help the students in life after high school as productive, prosperous citizens. To meet this objective, Calvine High School offers a Culinary Arts program consisting of numerous lab activities, projects, demos, etc. to facilitate students’ learning in the field of Culinary Arts and basic life skills necessary to operate safely and effectively in the kitchen. Culinary Arts that teaches students the benefits of preparing foods in the home or as an aspect of career development.
