Welcome to the newly
redesigned website for the Elk Grove
Unified School District.
Our goal is simple: We wish to improve
the communication between the district
and community.
The changes begin with the basics.
We simplified the navigation, making
it easier for you to access information.
On the left, you will find a new
menu. When you move over an item on
the vertical column, a second list
of options pops up. Click on any of
these choices to visit the page.
Another goal of the design is to highlight
district events. At the center of the site,
you will find an ongoing series of feature
stories about the outstanding programs at
Elk Grove Unified.
From time to time, you will see clickable
logos or photos that call attention to initiatives
or information. Please make it a habit to
check for updates.
Significantly, the redesign allows us the
flexibility to highlight important information
in an emergency.
The district’s newsroom page will
offer an e-newsletter (eguNews) for subscribers. In
addition, our website offers RSS feeds.
To get more information on e-newsletters
or RSS technology, please visit the EGUSD newsroom.
Finally, in this space I will post messages
about various topics. I may answer questions
or address concerns brought to my attention.
