By the end of seventh and eighth grade, Joseph Kerr students should be able to:

• manipulate numbers and equations
• use factoring principles and properties of exponents
• use the Pythagorean Theorem
• compute surface area and volume of 3-D objects
• convert between different units of measurement
• proficiently change numbers among fractions, decimals, and percents
