Members gathered to cook some Asian food: rice omelettes and sushi! This took place in the school kitchen, and we had a lot of fun.

For the Winter Multicultural Assembly at MTHS, Asian Club presented martial arts with a fan dance.
Skye (Venus Vue), Jessica Chen, and Annie Luu choreographed this performance.

Ms. Sarmiento brought in this Chinese instrument and members had the opportunity to try to play it!
New Year Grams - January 12th - 23rd, 2009
Asian Club sold candy grams (with Asian candy!) with lucky red envelopes. Tied together with ribbon, it made a great gift. Members donated much of their time to make them.
BCM New Year meeting: January 2009
Anson, Annie, Jessica, and Diana performed the martial arts/fan dance routine again with modifications at Barbara Comstock Morse Elementary School. For the children present, we brought coloring pages of cows since it is the Year of the Ox.
We watched My Sassy Girl, original Korean version. It's an AWESOME movie, so see it if you haven't already.
Movie Night #2: April 2nd, 2009
We had decided to watch God of Cookery. That afternoon, we watched a movie in Cantonese.
