Monthly Themes are: AMBITIOUS & RESPONSIBLE
STARBASE – Our 5th grade classes will once again be attending STARBASE academy. There will be 5 classes beginning on April 24, held every Wednesday for 5 weeks. The classes are 5 hours long. STARBASE is an educational program which responds to the needs of today's youth through hands-on activities focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), personal development, and teamwork in a real-world context that fosters the development of 21st Century Skills.
MOVIE NIGHT – Friday, May 3rd is movie night. We will be featuring “Wreck It Ralph”. The doors will open at 6pm.
2nd GRADE FIELD TRIP – Our 2nd graders will be visiting Sheldon High School on Thursday, May 9th. Sheldon High School students will be performing “A Lasso Tale, Tales of the Old West”.
JOG-A-THON – Students will be participating in our annual Jog-a-Thon on Friday, May 10th. Our goals are to: 1) Have fun! 2) Get some exercise! 3) Raise money for our School!
STAR TESTING – STAR testing begins on Monday, May 13th through Friday, May 24th. It is very important that our students get a good night’s sleep and do their best on the test!
1st GRADE FIELD TRIP - On Wednesday, May 15th our 1st grade students will be visiting Fog Willow.
COUNTY FAIR – Several of our classes will be visiting the County Fair on Thursday, May 23rd.
HOLIDAY – Monday, May 27th is Memorial Day. There will be no school in observance of the holiday.
