SSC - SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL

The primary role of the Herman Leimbach Elementary School Site Council is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our School Improvement Plan (SIP) and is vital in building a strong school-to-community relationship.  The Academic Improvement Plan focuses on enhancing targeted areas of our curriculum and other key aspects of our school environment.  This is done through collaborative decision making on the allocation of funds received annually from the state.

Our School Site Council meets every other month on a designated day and is comprised of our Principal, three teachers, one member of the support staff at the school and four parents.  Teacher, support staff, and parent terms are two or three years. Members of the School Site Council are elected by their peers.
