Microsoft Office 2007 and "All The Right Type" are installed on all computers in the Sunrise lab. However, the following open-source software is also used in the lab. You can
download and install the following items onto your home computer, free of charge!
OpenOffice
Powerful, free, open-source office productivity software. Includes word
processor, spreadsheet program, presentation and database. Reminiscent of Microsoft Office. Available
for Windows and Linux (See below for special Mac version)

OpenOffice may be sluggish on older computers or computers with limited RAM. If you only need a word processor, consider Abiword. Runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Tuxpaint
Fun, free, open-source paint program for young children, but older
children love it, too. Reminiscent of KidPix. Available for Windows,
Mac, and Linux
