Employee Wellness
The Elk Grove Unified School District's Employee Wellness Program seeks to promote and support a healthy work environment, health awareness, individual responsibility for a healthy lifestyle, decreased risk of disease and enhanced quality of life for District personnel. 
 
Volunteering/Fingerprinting Information
The Elk Grove Unified School District requires that all volunteer candidates who work with students be fingerprinted as part of a criminal background check. Even volunteers that work under the direct supervision of a District employee need to be fingerprinted.

Beginning Teachers who participate in the Teacher Induction Program experience enhanced professional development and become increasingly successful with teaching through a rich and thoughtful induction process. Each gains a professional voice by working in close concert with experienced colleagues to chart their progress through the continuum of skills, knowledge, and abilities associated with each of the California Standards for the Teaching Profession.
