Our school district is growing, and we want to attract the best and brightest candidates to join the Elk Grove Unified School District team. Online Application Process

  • Thank you for your interest in the Elk Grove Unified School District. The district uses an on-line application process through EDJOIN, which is paperless and on-line where prospective candidates can submit one application for a position in EGUSD and update it or revise it for other positions that become available within the district. Applicants can submit their credentials, letters of recommendation, transcripts, resume, and other certificates on-line.
 
  • Please do not email your application, resume, credential, certificates, transcripts or letters of recommendation directly to Human Resources. We do not accept paper applications.
 
  • To be considered for a position, all materials must be submitted through EDJOIN.

January 11, 2022 – Governor Newsom Signs Executive Order to Support Safe, In-Person Learning at Schools Amid COVID Surge – Executive Order N-3-22 – “The limitations in California Code of Regulations, Title 5, sections 80025.1 (c) and 80025.3(0) and (b), as modified via Section 47 of Assembly Bill 167, Chapter 252, Statutes of 2021, on the duration for which substitute teachers can be assigned to a single general education assignment are extended to no more than 120 days through March 31, 2022.”
August 16, 2021 – Governor Newsom Approves Short-Term Staffing Flexibility for Schools’ Recent Retirees – Executive Order N-12-21 – “WHEREAS additional flexibility to hire retired teachers is necessary to assist public schools in providing continuity of educational services for students in the face of rising case rates”
